Sales of classic PCs have been falling for a long time. Everything points to the fact that most people prefer to buy a laptop that they can put anywhere. Classic PCs remain the domain of players. MSI has an interesting alternative for people who do not need a super-efficient gaming mouse, but want to work on a big screen. It is a small and cooled passive MSI Cubi 3 Silent.

Who is it for? First of all for people who do not have a place for a classic computer. The MSI Cubi 3 Silent is so small that it can be safely positioned next to the TV, and the wireless mouse and keyboard will be controlled. The second example of the use of a toddler MSI is a desk, where after setting up 2 monitors did not have enough room for a classic computer. Right now, the biggest impression is probably what the capabilities of today’s integrated graphics cards.

The MSI Cubi series is already available in Poland for a long time. Perhaps they are not very popular, but they will surely find their audience. The MSI Cubi 3 Silent has small dimensions (159.6 x 69.5 x 110.2 mm) and weighs 1,275 kg (SSD version). This computer has a fully enclosed aluminum housing that features the Intel Kaby Lake-U 7-inch cooling coil at the top. In the middle, you can get as much as 32 GB of DDR4 2133 MHz RAM (2 slots available). The manufacturer has also envisaged the installation of the M.2 SATA / PCI-e module and a 2.5”hard drive. Fortunately, you will not have to decide on the most powerful variant, because after loosening 4 screws, the user will be able to expand the configuration itself.

On the front there are 2 USB 3.1 ports and an audio connector. On the back side, in addition to the next two USB ports, we have also available Display Port 1.2, HDMI 1.4 and Ethernet. As far as wireless connectivity is concerned, it is provided by the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168 (M.2 2230) Wi-Fi card. The device will be available in two color variants: silver and black. Price is not yet known.
